The time of intellectual economy (IE) has come!

In the words of scripture, “God founded the world by his wisdom; the days are coming, a righteous Branch will be raised up, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.”

We must be wise as well as “honor the Lord with our wealth.” So everyone deserves a chance of wisdom and wealth in the time of IE.

The time of IE should be “the value of humanity” above “the output of technology”; therefore, the intellectual industry (II) must be required.

The double I (II) have been defined that “an industry of derivative value chain will be able to benefit all of participators”.

When the age of globalize was coming, many people were worry about the resources would be dominated by a few super powers, to concentrate the wealth, to get worse issue of the further distance between rich and poor.

Consequently, intellectual industry emphasized that “humanity concern, humanity value” should be higher than “the output of technology”, for approaching the “technologicalization of traditional industries and intellectualization of technology industries”, to take care of the interests of majority of people, to reduce the people’s anxious, to make the progresses of economy and society.

A tool should be required by the intellectual industry for implementation; this tool named “Global Channel-TES”.

An important tool in our efforts to promote sustained economic development through the use of “TES”, which was invented for building a completed industrial chain—from innovation, production to marketing, providing a derivative value chain of the industries both in tradition and technology, and benefiting all of participants.

The island-type economy will be replaced by the maritime economy, penetrating through the island to the seas and oceans and continents by new transmission technology. People will be able to “work at home to earn the money from the global”.

 “Global Channel-TES” was a social responsibility investment (SRI) for free movement of “people, goods, services and capital”, to win the best practice of “strengthening of the economic society” in 2003 at APEC that of the population approximate 2.6 billion.

The invest plan of “Global Channel-TES” has been submitted officially in the international economy conference, and owned the intellectual property rights (IPRs) to protect the operation without interference, and not to worry for resolving the jobless problem.

The world has been pulled back to the starting point by the intellectual economy, to provide a fair opportunity for everyone who will be able to achieve their (his/her) goals.

It demands a partnership between private and public that called “PPP, Public-Private Partnership” to restore the productivity society, and to create a new economy era of the added value.

As well as the project of incubator that I promoted before, to help nascent entrepreneurs with chances for accomplishment.

Like Thomas Edison opened a new era of electronic lamp, to let the old age of kerosene lamp into history.

Corporate must take the “SR, social responsibility” into account at the time of IE, the most importance must be “the working right” to create employment opportunities that more important than seeking for the profits or growth rates.

The commitments of social responsibility must be followed decisively at the time of IE to protect every working right.

To convert the competition into cooperation, and the growth-seeking will be replaced by sharing.

When people who are of jobs that must be of incomes, survival will not be a problem, and further to own the possessions with happiness at homes.

In 1964, those who did creation of industry were no many on Taiwan; my father who was fascinated in dusting himself to create the skills and techniques; rather, put the family into extremely poverty. He was still happy in the sounds of taunts and mockers.

One day, we went with my father to visit an apprentice who already owned a plant of manufacturing the bottle’s caps.

I questioned my father that “can we make the caps by our automations?”

My father answered that “Sure! And one hundred pieces can be made in one minute!”

I was confused to ask that “why don’t we make it? We’re surely overwhelming all of competitors!”

Father sternly said that “that’s unfair competition! Ah-Cheng who just learnt this kind of simple pressing skill, as if we produced the caps by means of high end technology, then how could they make for living? ”

At present, remembered that what my father talked about “unfair competition”—this is not allowed at the time of intellectual economy for men’s gift were different by birth, those who were of five talents not allowed to attack one-talent’s, the right-doing should be stronger help weak.

Moreover, as President Obama said that “And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account — to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day — because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.”

In the 20 century, there was no place to use the intellectual industry as completed; therefore, it must be looked for the supports of policies to create the common understanding of international society, and went the international conferences to earn the laws, bills and regulations.

In Vancouver Canada at APEC 1997, the delegates named “Micro Business” with us; we continually put efforts at APEC 1998-2003, and finally won the “best practice”, the technology of contactless—radio frequency identification (RFID) that we brought to the world had been accepted by the global.

Afterwards, I proclaimed that SRI Fund must be established in order to resolve the issues of unemployment and poverty that caused by the imbalance development of the regional economy—these have become the issue of human rights. The conclusion was that “expedite”!

The heat last for the APEC CEO SUMMIT 2008 in Peru, corporate social responsibility (CSR) already is the topic; the time of IE has really com!

The intellectual existing in the age of people through voluntary service to others, sharing the fruits one another, achieving the common prosperity, forbidding the corruption. In support of APEC 2008’s Anti-Corruption Commitments, leaders commend efforts undertaken by member economies to develop comprehensive anti-corruption strategies.

Corruption in both the public and private sectors is a serious threat to social and economic development in the region. Leaders recognize that “when criminal entities collude with corrupt public and private sector officials, it results in a culture of impunity and financial exploitation of the legitimate economy.” They agreed to leverage our collective will to combat corruption and related transnational illicit networks by promoting clean government, supporting public-private partnerships, fostering market integrity, and transparent financial systems.

An age of integrity and bright has come! People will take account of healthy and clean environment, and follow the corporate social responsibility, the obedient ones will thus be able to sustainable development.

Leaders declared that “we are committed to strengthening the social dimension of globalization and ensuring that all members and all sectors of our economies can access the skills and opportunities to participate in, and benefit from, regional and global trade and investment.” at APEC CEO SUMMIT 2008.

In coincidence with what we did in the past 22 years.

Nowadays, the information can be penetrated into the world at the glance, no more secrets; wisdom must consequently be inspired, in the words of scripture, “Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing and benefits those who see the sun.”

The intellectual industry is a prompt, ambitious and balanced tool for stimulating the deteriorating global economic situation.

The path of development of intellectual economy (IE) was full of hardships; but we still keep faith and insist to serve those most in need; the faith is being sure of what we hope for, and going on the valuable work, and testifying the long term benefits for the people that is from the love of the Most High.
