SR, Social Responsibility

We proclaimed that “SR, Social Responsibility” for years, it has a conclusion at APEC CEO SUMMIT 2008 on 22 November, hoping that the economic plague would be able to be remedied.

Leaders were committed to strengthening the social dimension of globalization and ensuring that all members and all sectors of our economies can access the skills and opportunities to participate in, and benefit from, regional and global trade and investment.

SR Declaration included that four commitments of “Human Rights, Labor’s welfare, EP (Environment Protection), Anti-corruption”, these were based on the Scripture Exodus when Moses said to his people, “Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him; do not take advantage of a widow or an orphan; do not be like a moneylender to charge the interest from those who in need.

In 1986, we recognized that tycoons chase the competitions, pursue the growth will harm the land and the people; therefore, we’ve been making much efforts to practice the social responsibility investment, to proclaim the ideas of sharing and cooperation, to prepare a tool for the economic plague.

I knew that the ways we use energy threaten our planet, so the “Power Chip” of totally EP concept had been experimented for new age; and developed the contactless Toller for the transaction facilities, in order to approach the technologicalization of traditional industries, and achieve the common prosperity.

Once, I thought that “people should not in poverty, lazy was the reason to be poor”.

In February 1966, I was 13-year old, my father had maliciously been arrested to jail, polices pushed my grandmother down to break her legs without any mercy; therefore, I must take the responsibility to do something for living without any of ancestral resources.

I did not to let any one of my family who was hunger in one meal; furthermore, I dealt with American by my hand-made eyelets, and then turned over like an example of poverty.

When I was recruited by army to serve my country in 1976, my hands had already developed thousands of components, various applicable materials, automations and more than ten thousand sets of tooling that had established the foundation of “Precision Industry” in Taiwan.

Though an ethical tragedy broke out against me, I left my kingdom with empty-hand; a few years later, I was able to lend money to the banks, to help people start their businesses, and to revive the dying corporation.

Consequently, I thought that “poverty should be from ‘lazy”.

To hold a mission of “unemployment elimination”, my wife Linda Din went forth that until accomplishment of the new industry, which was submitted officially to the APEC MM 2003 in the name of “Global Channel-TES”.

This had been admired as the best practice of strengthening the economy society; and the conclusion was “Ministers encouraged all member economies to co-operate and actively participate in the project that was from self-funded seminars by Australia”.

Linda Din spoke at APEC 2003; she said that “after serious impact of SARS, it is an important curriculum for the APEC SME exporters and governments. How to build a safety and effective new economy model to stimulate regional economy?”

She explained the work and cooperation by TES Operation Chart .

Panhornic ComMec Incorporation like a big engine to drive a vital plan for regional economies, and to build a derivative value chain through above mentioned 6 centers.

She proposed that “APEC should initiate an Administration Committee forChannel, Protocol and Standard’.” Because her proposal was a “multilateral trading system” of a new commercial mechanism by means of new commercial machines with electronic payment (e-pay).

She emphasized that “this is a social responsibility investment (SRI), to invest a welfare channel for free movement of people, goods, services and capital, this is also a corporate responsibility!

The delegates commended that “surely, Global Channel-TES was the golden net of strengthening the economy society.

Nobody can imagine that to win a world pledge will be a war by the corrupt entities besieged her; she fell down finally after unceasingly attacks such as the fabricated accuses, summoned to court, shot by the black mails, premeditated to cut off the peer mentoring, intimidated to give the IPR (intellectual property right) up, interrogated in the police station…and etc.

In addition, the burglaries broke into the Panhornic ComMec Incorporation to close out of the technology information and substantial results; then painted the dirt word on the front gates.

I (Li-chang Kuo) have been providing unlimited resources to assist my life Linda Din to achieve her new industry, in order to meet the mission of eliminating the unemployment; I did not ask any returns. Rather, I received all of copies of the fabricated accuses to my life.

Obviously, the corrupt entities intending to put an end to us at once!

I must take care of Linda, and found out that she was cleaned up to nothing left, but illness beyond cure. So that I was brought into snare and could not work to earn money, then the furious attacks came to me continually; I discovered that “my privilege was deprived to let me cease work for living.

And I eventually realized that “poverty should be from people’s jobs shed!

Nothing can be done among the period of 2004-2005, except under the attacks.

There was one thing I can do is to take my wife to make prayer at the nearby church in the early morning at 5:30. I asked the Most High personally to cure Linda Din, I gained the Promise after 365 days, and Linda’s health was gradually recovering.

I was informed that Australia’s Prime Minister John Howard will promote the “best practice policy” at APEC CEO SUMMIT 2006; consequently, I prayed to God to eliminate the barriers for participation the conference in Hanoi Vietnam.

I carried the booklets of what I hope for, the booklet shown what Linda Din spoke at APEC MM 2003, the content of the best practice- “Global Channel-TES”. I spread the booklets out in the meetings to describe a necessity of the multilateral trading system.

I said that “nascent enterprises need to sell their goods into the markets, and earn the profits; global channel-TES is a welfare channel for circulation of their products.

The delegates were all astonished that “you are incredible to provide such excellent solution for small business exporters in 2003.

I replied that “this is social responsibility investment (SRI).”

I advocated to establish the SRI Fund, PCH is a firm of private sector to develop a feasible trading system, which was called “SRI, social responsibility investment”; the SRI must be established as soon as possible for the general implementation of the best practice to strengthening the economic society.

I suggested that “APEC should put into practice to issues 1.7 billion TranSmart cards, USD 50 per card for USD 85 billion; then , the general implementation of Global Channel-TES to be a golden net for those most in need.

The idea of raising the fund was “to share the risk at minimum”, one person who pre-pays USD 50 as the water drops to form a powerful stream for propelling the wheel of great era.

When the golden net operated, that will create 5 million jobs or more, and the output will be USD 257 billion, and the vital spring will be a bubbling brook; then, in the scripture, we can say: “Come! Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.”

I was noticed that “CSR, corporate social responsibility is the topic at APEC CEO SUMMIT 2008 in the earlier year; I immediately prepared a updated booklet to send to the host of Peru via post-office and email when I received an official initiation after 20 May.

I mentioned that “A series of bankrupt of banks after subprime lending crisis; consequently, the solution of financial problem and economy plague should be a biggest issue in the APEC CEO SUMMIT 2008.

I submitted a feasibility proposal named “Global Channel-TES”, which had been officially presented at APEC MM 2003 on 4 August in Chiang Mai, Thailand to address the Needs of Small Business Exporter of “Growing the APEC SME Exporter Community II: A Business Perspective” hosted by Australia.

Recently, we saw the regulations of e-payment have been passed by the economies—these were the positive responses.

Up to now, the Contactless Technology which we invented has become the most important industry; the world will be led to a new era of Productivity Society to produce the added value by means of the innovative industry. As to the Consumption Society should be sublated!

After the raging storm of financial crisis, APEC Leaders’ Declared that “Advancing Regional Economic Integration, welcomed the capacity building activities, welcomed the work undertaken on linkages between private public partnerships (PPP) and capital market development. In this regard, we called on Finance Ministers to examine more fully the means to optimize linkages between private infrastructure finance and growth and development.

We encouraged active participation in the voluntary system of peer or self-review of our economies' efforts to implement structural economic reform.

Addressing the social dimension of globalization: “Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)”.

They stressed that “globalization based on economic, social and environmental progress can bring sustainable benefits to all APEC economies, their business sectors and their people. CSR can reinforce the positive effects that trade and investment and sustainable development.

And encouraged responsible and transparent business conduct that adheres to local legislation and regulations and takes into account guidelines related to CSR that have been developed by multilateral bodies, as appropriate.

The future work that will encourage dialogue on CSR among relevant stakeholders including: “businesses, governments, employees, communities, consumers, investors, and non-governmental organizations.” We recognized ABAC's efforts in promoting CSR awareness and uptake in the region through the dissemination of information regarding CSR principles, practices and benefits.

They encouraged companies to incorporate CSR into their business strategies to take account of “social, labor and environmental concerns”. We agreed to promote CSR practices in APEC economies on a voluntary basis in business operations of all sizes to complement public policies that foster sustainable development.

As to the anti-corruption, Leaders welcomed the “Lima Anti-Corruption Declaration” for Public-Private Action against corruption. They recognize that the criminalization of corruption can facilitate greater regional cooperation.

US’ President Obama said that “we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some; people’s homes have been lost, jobs shed, businesses shuttered…And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account!

I’d like to say that “starting today, we must pick social responsibility up, and begin again the work of remaking the land.

I believed that “our society will be recovered for happiness, implementing the trip-win goal of people, enterprises and government”.
